How strong are the coffins?

Despite their pleasingly natural appearance, our coffins are remarkably strong.

High-quality Rattan is an incredibly robust material, and sturdy wooden joints and dowels are used in the construction of each coffin, making it capable of holding up to 180kg (30 stone).

Can you see through the weave?

No, absolutely not. Although our coffins are woven from natural fibres, roped & core rattan (wicker), the sides and base are complemented with a thin layer of wood, this combined with the organic cotton lining ensures dignity.

Are the coffins tested and certified by the FFMA?

Yes.

Are the coffins suitable for natural burial and cremation?

Yes.

Is it possible to order for later delivery?

Is your wicker coffin white or natural colour?

The colour is a light natural colour, it is not white but can appear white in direct sunlight.
